Victor R. Mendiola, Jr.
Before founding Promesa Investments, Victor R. Mendola, Jr. worked primarily on the private equity side of commercial real estate. Respected firms like PaineWebber/UBS in New York City, USAA Real Estate Company in San Antonio, and Behringer Investments in Dallas all entrusted Victor with sourcing and executing value-add and opportunistic investment strategies.
Over the course of his career, he has completed more than $1.1 billion in deals, which includes the acquisition, development, and financing of many different property types.
Victor earned his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and his master’s from Harvard University. For the past 25 years, he has been actively involved in initiatives designed to positively impact underserved communities. He is a former member of the board of directors for KIPP DFW, a nonprofit public charter school organization, and remains an active volunteer. By using his real estate knowledge and experience, Victor helps develop sustainable real estate solutions that will allow these schools to continue their growth and serve deserving youths for years to come.
